The following words were written by Siedah Garrett.
‘I’m starting with the man in the mirror
I’m asking him to change his ways
And no message could have been any clearer
If you wanna make the world a better place
Take a look at yourself, and then make a change’
Most of us look in the mirror every day, but what do we see? The age lines? The mistakes? The potential?
I’ve just resumed a daily practice of intentional positive mirror work after a brief period where I was too challenged by what was looking back at me. I did’ot invent this work, I was inspired by Louise Hay in her book Life loves you.
To do the work I find a quiet place and look at myself for 15-30 minutes whilst saying lots of positive phrases and affirmations. The first one being Louise Hay’s suggestion of “Life loves you”.
